Little Bird market to return to Ripon this weekend Little Bird Made are gearing up for a visit to their hometown of Ripon this weekend - and also a trip up north to Leyburn. Little Bird Markets began in Ripon and the markets are always packed with handmade and locally sourced products. The artisan market will return to the city's market place on Sunday (25th June) from 10am until 3pm. Little Bird will also be travelling up north to the traditional market town of Leyburn on Saturday (24th June) from 9am until 3pm. A spokesperson for Little Bird Made said:
"Both markets will be packed with smiling traders and high-quality goods all waiting to meet you. "Our traders get up early and put lots of hard work into preparing for every market so they can bring you their amazing products. "By attending markets rather than selling online, they get to meet their customers, show their range of products, and tell the story behind how their small business started."The spokesperson added:
"Some of these [businesses] were during lockdown when people had time to turn their dreams into a reality but for lots, they have been working hard for a number of years to perfect their products and build the business. "Each market is specially curated, so they are all unique with a wide mix of stalls and goods. There are always new traders joining the Little Bird community and will bring new items to the markets."[caption id="attachment_61670" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] Little Bird stallholders.[/caption] Items available for visitors include art, photography, clothing, homeware and fragrance, skin and body care, accessories, jewellery, toys and pet treats, alongside plenty of food and drink options. The Little Bird spokesperson added:
"All our markets are a great day out for all the family even your pets. They are outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. "We also encourage everyone to attend safely, to protect both traders and members of the public."Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
