Knaresborough named in top 10 most 'instagrammable' places in Yorkshire

Jacobs & Dalton, a company based in Thirsk, has compiled a list of the top 10 most 'Instagrammable' spots in the county.

Knaresborough named in top 10 most 'instagrammable' places in Yorkshire A new study has looked at the most 'instagrammable' and picturesque places across the county - and Knaresborough has been included in a list of the top 10. The study, carried out by Thirsk-based company Jacobs & Dalton, looks at the most posts on the social media platform taken across 'God's Own County.' And with more than 183,000 posts, Knaresborough has been ranked in third place behind York Minster and North York Moors. The study mentioned the "stunning views" of the River Nidd, the iconic viaduct and the medieval Knaresborough Castle. James Waylett from Jacobs & Dalton said:

“These locations are not just beautiful backdrops for your Instagram feed, but they also reflect the rich heritage and stunning landscapes that have shaped the region. "So, grab your camera, put on your walking shoes, and immerse yourself in the beauty of North Yorkshire. "It's time to capture the spirit of 'God's Own County' and share it with the world."
