Harrogate's Stray among UK's best places to see cherry blossom Harrogate’s Stray has been included on a list of the best places to see cherry blossom in the UK. The list of ten has been devised by Time Out Magazine and includes locations in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff. And Harrogate’s Stray has been included as number three on the list, billed as a “historical stroll.” April is the most vibrant month for cherry blossom displays, but they’ll be in bloom from March to May. Time Out magazine said:
“You’ll find candyfloss archways of perfect blossom all over The Stray: a 200-acre stretch of parkland in Yorkshire’s regal spa town. “Planted in 1953 to celebrate the Queen’s coronation, the blossoms are usually joined by patches of jewel-bright crocuses and sunshine daffodils in spring.”[caption id="attachment_104337" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] Cherry blossom on Harrogate's Stray.
