Harrogate's Miss Yorkshire launches mindfulness movement classes

Harrogate's 'Miss Yorkshire' Chloe McEwen is launching mindfulness movement classes.

Harrogate's Chloe McEwen, the reigning 'Miss Yorkshire' has launched a series of online mindfulness movement classes.

Inspired by her own experiences of being sectioned under the Mental Health Act at 16-years-old, Chloe has started the movement for people to reconnect with their inner strength, balance and peace.

She attributes fitness and mindfulness including meditation and a healthy lifestyle, to helping support her own mental health.

Following her recovery, Chloe has embarked on a successful career as a Level 3 personal trainer and volunteers for the charity Mind in Harrogate.

Chloe shares her story and tools around mental health in secondary schools, in hope to inspire and guide students through challenging days.

She is also a Suicide First Aider and ambassador for HelloHope, a Community Interest Company offering life-saving mental health and suicide prevention training.

Chloe McEwen, founder of Mindful Movement, said:

“I am so happy to have launched these online mindfulness classes to reach and support many more people all over the world.

“Mindfulness has the power to transform lives, reduce stress and anxiety, and help people connect their mind, body and soul.

“My main objective is for people to understand that Mindfulness Movement is more than just exercise—it’s a journey towards finding your true essence of strength, peace, love, and happiness from within”.

The mindfulness movement classes are held online and last one hour, run every Monday and Saturday.

‘Mindful Mondays’ intend to start people’s weeks by grounding themselves and building inner peace whilst ‘Strong Saturdays’ are designed to boost full body strength while maintaining a connection between mind and body.

Classes are available to sign up at www.chloesmindfulness.com, with a free seven-day trial available.
