Harrogate pupils plant new apple trees on school grounds A number of Harrogate pupils have helped plant seven new apple trees at their school in the hope they will last for one hundred years. Coppice Valley Primary School pupils joined Headteacher Miss McNamara to plant the apple saplings on Friday (1st March). The idea came following an indoor market to celebrate the King’s Coronation last year. Pupils were inspired by the King's support for The Princes Trust and entrepreneurial young people. They also have a passion for planting trees and combatting environmental issues.
