A dog café in Harrogate has been forced to close due to "lower footfall."
The Dogs Bakery & Café on Regent Parade has moved online in what owner Emma Ashurst has described as “the hardest decision to make.”
It first opened in May 2022.
In a post on Instagram, Emma wrote:
“I want to take this opportunity to thank my amazing staff for all their hard work and dedication to our wonderful little cafe, and of course to all our amazing customers and their pooches.
“Without you all, the past two and a half years would not have been possible, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
“I’ve lived the dream and I couldn’t be more proud.”
All the biscuits made in the shop will be available to buy online with local deliveries made during the week.
The café will still have Doggy Afternoon Tea to buy, plus Christmas and Birthday Boxes.
