Various scout groups will be marching through the streets of Harrogate this weekend as part of the St George’s Parade.
The annual parade is to celebrate the Scouting Movement, which was founded by Baden Powell in 1907.
Hundreds of Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Squirrels as well as Guides, Brownies and Rainbows will take to the streets of Harrogate on Sunday (28th April).
The groups will assemble on the West Park Stray from 1:30pm before starting their march at 2pm.
As a result, the following roads will be closed between 1:30pm and 2:30pm:
- Beech Grove
- Victoria Avenue
- Queens Parade
- Station Road
- North Park Road
- Coach Road
