The Crema Coffee team have donated £3,000 to Cure Usher.

A charitable new café in Harrogate has donated £3,000 to help people suffering with Usher Syndrome.

Crema Coffee on Royal Parade have donated the money to Cure Usher - a charity dedicated to finding a cure for the condition.

Usher Syndrome affects vision and hearing, and the Cure Usher charity is at the forefront of research and support for those affected.

The Crema team have been raising money through sales of its merchandise, after collaborating with The Violet Life and Deaf Identity.

A spokesperson for the café said:

"This contribution is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting important causes and making a positive impact in our community.

"We believe in Cure Usher's mission and hope our donation will help further their essential work.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported us and made this possible with the purchase of our merchandise."

Crema Coffee opened on Royal Parade in November last year, offering breakfast and all-day brunch.
