Little Bird Made are looking ahead to two of their biggest artisan markets this weekend held in Knaresborough and Harrogate.
Big weekend for artisan markets in Harrogate and Knaresborough Little Bird Made are looking ahead to two of their biggest artisan markets in Knaresborough and Harrogate this weekend. Little Bird Made are bringing their usual variety of stallholders to Knaresborough's Castle Yard on Saturday (2nd September) and Harrogate's Valley Gardens on Sunday (3rd September). The markets offer products “suitable for all ages” including pet accessories; children’s clothing, toys, crafts, skin and body care and art. There’s also homeware, cakes, bakes, chocolate treats; clothing and accessories. And the dog-friendly market also features street food vendors with lots of hot and cold food, snacks and drinks. A spokesperson for Little Bird Made said:
"Each market will be packed full of our amazing traders from across the area, selling their handmade goods. "The markets are a great day out for all ages and a good family day out before the kids go back to school. "They have goods to suit everyone, you’ll be surprised at the variety you can find."The market continues its aim to support independent businesses and traders. A spokesperson added:
"Little Bird has always been based on the ethos of shopping small and shopping local and encouraging people to support small independent businesses. 'They also support local communities they trade in and encourage people to visit not only the markets but also the local businesses and tourist attraction in the local area, boosting tourism in each area."Applications are open Little Bird winter applications are open for markets between September and December this year – and Little Bird are on the lookout for traders to sell their products.
