30,000 visitors expected for Harrogate Autumn Flower Show

The Harrogate Autumn Flower Show is back at Newby Hall next week.

Organisers of the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show are expected up to 30,000 visitors when the show returns next week.

The show is one of the most highly anticipated events in the gardening calendar and will be taking place from 13th – 15th September.

It's set to be held in the grounds of Newby Hall, with a packed programme of live talks and demos across four live stages.

Discover need-to-know tips for growing your own produce and delicious recipes in The Great Northern Larder.

The Grow! stage will include inspiring demonstrations from celebrity floral designer Jonathan Moseley and gardening wisdom from the Grow! Team.

A range of experts and ambassadors from across the horticultural spectrum will share their passion for gardens, nature and wellbeing on The Human Gardener stage.

And finally, the Pick & Preserve stage will share a wealth of ideas on how to transform the season’s bounty into delicious delights and how to successfully dry flowers.

Show Director Nick Smith said:

“We are thrilled to host the Autumn Flower Show at Newby Hall again this year.

"It’s a beautiful location that truly embodies the spirit of horticulture, and we have an incredible lineup of exhibitors, installations, and live stage events.

"We can’t wait to welcome both new and returning visitors to what promises to be a magnificent autumn celebration!”

Highlights include the Giant Vegetable Competition and the Natural Onion Championship, which saw a new world record set at last year's show.

Admission to the show includes access to Newby’s award-winning gardens and children’s adventure playground, plus the opportunity to explore the great garden shopping, crafts, gifts and specialist food and drink on offer.

Tickets are charged at £28 for adults, whilst under 16's and general parking are free. Tickets are available to purchase online at www.flowershow.org.uk
