Name: Killinghall CE Primary School
Headteacher: Mrs Sarah Bassitt
Our school is a central part of the Killinghall community, with positive links to our church. Parents and children describe us as ‘one big happy family where everyone can thrive’.
Our ethos is one of support and care for all, and this is lived out each day through our Christian values.
We provide children with learning opportunities that create positive memories and develop resilience and self-belief.
Since the return to school in March we have all been working hard on our wellbeing, with a special month of exciting as well as calming activities, this includes a whole school sponsored walk.
We will be having a skipping workshop to round off the month of activities. Our garden area has been re-developed since lock-down and everyone is excited to see the vegetables and flowers growing.
Over the last three years we have had considerable expansion of the school due to increasing pupil numbers.
We have moved from a four mixed age class set up to single form entry, now with 172 happy and enthusiastic children.
Our school is a special place where everyone cares for each other and believes that they can ‘dream big’.
Come and see us at work and play – you will immediately see why we are all so proud of our school.
