Harrogate Town have announced their pre-season schedule which includes a visit to the EnviroVent Stadium from one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.

Newcastle United will be heading to Town’s Wetherby Road Stadium on Sunday 18th July as part of preparations for the new season.

Steve Bruce’s side will bring with them an array of experienced international footballers as part of two pre-season friendlies on that date, with their first team squad split between the two fixtures.

Simon Weaver’s Town side will also be heading to Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town, who currently play in the Championship, on Saturday 10th July.

The club follow this up with a trip to former Assistant Manager Vill Powell’s Brighouse on Tuesday 13th July and to Blackwell Meadows to take on Darlington on Tuesday 27th July.
